| dc.description.abstract | The UNESC : IBE Education Thesaurus is evaluated from the point of view of an indexer for use in a manual system, by an experimental indexing of eductional literture -- books, periodical articles, reports and pamphlets -- the suitability of the Thesaurus is explored. The paper examines the grouping of the descriptors into seven fields and the range and coverage of each field. An attempt is also made to examine its adaptability for a national system. | en_US |
