dc.description.abstract Retro-conversion tools are heavily used in libraries for data exchange. The advent of Web has brought the concept of Digital libraries and semantic web. This movement has increased the use of metadata from different domains. In such a situation libraries often feel to convert web based metadata schema to their native metadata schema. XSL Transformation is a wonderful tool for such kind of conversion which is used by MarcEdit, a bibliographic data editor designed at Oregon State University. This paper is a tutorial for using XSLT and MarcEdit. en_US
