dc.description.abstract	The Library and Information Services, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, has developed a computer-based information storage and retrieval system. The INIS : Thesaurus (Rev 8) is used as an indexing tool for input preparation to this IR system. The difficulties encoountered due to local requirements are described and the efficiency of utilising INIS : Thesaurus at local level is discussed.	en_US
