Managing partner and research director of Knowledge Dialogues, which she founded in Hong Kong in 1997, specializing in research and advisory services relating to innovation, knowledge and intellectual capital. Her research interests are: epistemology of knowledge, sociology of knowledge, intellectual capital/ intellectual property assessment, innovation and knowledge management strategies, innovation cluster and R&D networks in Asia.
She holds teaching and research assignments at a number of universities across the Asia Pacific region, and is Visiting Faculty at International School of Information Management at the University of Mysore, India. In 1999, she was professor for Knowledge Management at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
She holds an M.A. in information science and sociology from the Free University of Berlin (Germany), and an M.B.A. from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. She is member of the Academy of International Business, the Euro-Asia Management Studies Association and is a fellow of the 21stCentury Trust.
